The HabiCave is designed to create a calming space for immersing oneself in a task or a relaxing activity. The HabiCave is a sustainable cave that reduces noise levels while stimulating the senses, making it perfect for daily micro-breaks. Micro-breaks improve quality of life, performance and minimise stress.
We know that more and more people are suffering from stress. Research shows that some of the biggest stress factors are excessive noise and a lack of rest. It has also been proven that “micro-breaks” can help to improve quality of life and performance while minimising stress. With the HabiCave, well-being is strengthened with the help of a calming atmosphere and sensory modulation.
It is for this express purpose the HabiCave was created – A multifunctional, sustainable piece of furniture designed for micro-living in macro surroundings. A cave that improves well-being in children and adults, with quiet and sensory facilities for micro-breaks. A cave that offers a room to withdraw from one’s surroundings and space simply to exist – developed for people, focusing on the environment.
Material:
Felt
Environmentally friendly felt material that is made from upcycled PET plastics that have been collected from the World’s oceans.
Durable
Lightfast
Hypoallergenic/easy to maintain – cleaned by dusting and wiping with a moist cloth or rinsing – can be wiped down with approved disinfectants.
Seat/Back/Bases:
Made from black, lacquered plywood.
Steel:
50% newly produced steel and 50% recycled steel.
Pillow
Artificial leather. Durable. Hypoallergenic/easy to maintain – cleaned by dusting and wiping with a moist cloth or rinsing – can be wiped down with approved disinfectants.
Colours:
The HabiCave is available in 25 colours, but we have selected the 8 colours we believe best fit the Scandinavian home. If you have a request for a specific colour, contact us, and we will let you know if that colour is in stock. If not, perhaps we can find a suitable alternative.
The HabiCave’s felt material is made from up-cycled PET plastics, which means that a slight colour discrepancy between different productions is possible.
The HabiCave’s pillow, frame and base are always delivered in a beautiful, matte black colour that helps to improve the calming atmosphere of the HabiCave.

DELIVERY
Delivery time is 5-7 weeks.
The HabiCave is delivered “flat packed” adjusted for a EUR-pallet for optimal storage, freight and handling.
